Limitation of Participants

The organiser has the right to limit the number of participants if necessary.

Registration deadline

The closing dates for registration and late registration are valid as long as there are still starting places available.

Online registration

Online registration will close at 00:00 on the Wednesday before the race weekend. After that, registrations will only be possible at the late registration/start number issue plus late registration fee.

Late registration & race number distribution

Late registration and start number distribution at the start in Ettal (inner courtyard of the monastery) will take place on Saturday from 08:00 - 09:45 hrs.

Payment

The entry fee valid at the time of registration is valid until 31.05.2023 or 31.08.2023. If payment has not been made by then, the entry fee will be automatically increased.

Payment by bank transfer:

Responsibilities of the competitors

Competitors must cover the entire distance under their own power. The assistance of pacemakers and pushing helpers is not allowed (IWO Art. 343.7).

Competition conditions

In case of doubtful conditions, the organiser will inform via the website.

Cancellation of the competition

If the competition is cancelled due to force majeure (weather, lack of snow, pandemic, environmental disaster, threat situation), the entry fee will automatically be carried over to the following year. If the participant does not wish to have the entry fee carried over to the following year, a refund of 50 per cent of the entry fee (according to IWO) can be demanded (minus the transfer and administration costs). The repayment must be made by the participant in writing, stating his/her bank account details on the form provided by the organiser, by 1st November of the year of the cancelled event at the latest.

Insurance / Liability / Health

Each participant bears full responsibility for his/her state of health. Each participant declares with his/her registration that he/she is physically, mentally and emotionally healthy at the time of participation in the König Ludwig Lauf.

The organiser accepts no liability for accidents, lost items, theft, damage to health or other damage of any kind. The organiser also declines any liability towards spectators and third parties. The organiser is insured by the BLSV.

Data protection

During the run, participant photos and participant videos will be produced, which can then be obtained by the participants. The publication of participant photos and videos must be agreed to during online registration. Sponsors and partners of the König Ludwig Lauf have the right to send a one-time mailing to the participants.

By agreeing to the competition regulations, the data protection declaration is accepted at the same time. The data provided in the registration will be used to enable your participation in the event. This includes the publication of starter and result lists on the open internet, timekeeping, and the taking of photos and videos. For this purpose, we will also pass on the data you have provided to our cooperation partners. These are currently: SportSoft spol. s r.o.,Nám. In accordance with the storage periods set out in section 9, your data will generally - with the exception of the results lists - be deleted after 10 years at the latest. The following data will be permanently displayed in the results lists: Name, first name, gender, age group, in the year concerned, possibly club, gross time, net time. Please understand that these are result lists from an official competition, which cannot be changed afterwards.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b) DS-GVO.

Registration by minors is excluded. Registration by minors for the appropriately approved events may only be made by their legal guardians.

To prevent unauthorised access by third parties to your personal data, in particular financial data, the data is transmitted between your browser and our server in encrypted form.

In order to be able to send announcements and information material to the participants, the addresses and email addresses provided by the participants will be used, we kindly ask you to take note of this.

König Ludwig Lauf e.V. is allowed to use pictures and films of participants in its publications, advertising material, internet and social media channels.

By registering, the participant agrees that the data stated in the registration, the photos, film recordings and interviews made in connection with the participation in the competition may be used by the organiser in radio, television, advertising, books, films, internet etc. without any claims for remuneration on the part of the participant until revoked.

Acceptance of the regulations

With the payment of the entry fee the participants unconditionally accept these regulations of the König Ludwig Lauf e.V. .
